Anhecomics (anhedonia + comics) is a series of short graphic narratives based on interviews with anonymous people who experience clinical depression. As a work of graphic medicine, Anhecomics aims to raise awareness of the realities of the condition as well as empower those also experiencing depression to find treatment that works for them. The interviews, writing, drawing, and publishing are all done by me.
For this episode, I interviewed someone who experiences dysthymic depression associated with complex post-traumatic stress disorder. We talked about the experiences that caused the c-PTSD to develop, and how they manage it in their daily life.
